Lana grew up in Invermere and returned to

Heidi and Darren Th ompson are busy prepar-
ing for their fourth tourist season as the owner/
operators of the Sunset Motel in Radium Hot
Springs.
Heidi says that when they bought the motel
they had no idea how much work it would be, or
how much fun.
Th e transition from the big city of Edmon-
ton to the resort village has been both interesting
and challenging for the couple and their daughters

Gigi Plassmann learned the art and craft of
